Marty Bigos is currently the Director of
the Flow Cytometry Core at the Herzenberg lab at Stanford.
He has worked in the field for over 27 years, starting out as an operator in a tissue
typing transplantation lab at UCSF in the late 1970s. He spent thirteen years at
Stanford University in the Herzenberg Lab doing instrumentation hardware and
software development and managing the operation of the Shared FACS Core. He can
